Long littered with the revolving door of active members and vocalists, the band write a succinct record that highlight’s their ability to deliver a superb melodic alternative release that cements their name in time. “Care” is an instant catalogue highlight, and “Suspended In This Disaster” finds the band in refined form shooting off harmonies like there’s no tomorrow. The instrumentation is intense, with whacky noodling and chaotic fills just taking off in the background, highly comparable to a prog record, but unfortunately it’s all shadowed behind this incredible voice that steals the band’s spotlight.
