Hopping on the comeback bandwagon, Trustkill’s true flagship act emerges to deliver quite the follow up. The emotional riffage alongside wailing vocals for emocore’s greatest moments is always welcome. But while the record is produced like a glove, and fits snug with a tight grip on the listener throughout the duration of its listen, the band seem to indulge in their misstep of turning up the clean vocals up to eleven and overshadowing the entire track on almost every song. Aside from this odd nuance, Hopesfall are back! Here’s to hoping they approach the modern day scene environment with strategy and catapult their place on festival rosters where they belong.
