It’s only four songs, but it’s more than enough to drive the demons out of your speakers and into your home as the band decimates everything in their path. The death metal here is timeless, as if it has been going on non-stop since the band’s prior release, which was as equally brutal and captivating. For a technical death metal band Cryptopsy know how to raise the bar. It’s unfortunate that it’s just an EP, but it’s clear that the band know how to be niche in the community, and deliver just enough to draw attention that they’re still the masters of the craft.
