The Ocean “Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic”

Whenever the band releases a new record, editing  and spelling the complex album title is one of the most important things as the act has been executing alongside their biological/evolutionary vision since their inception. From an auditory stand point this is highly comparable to the band’s prior releases, which always reminded me of a blend between what The End tried to accomplish on Elementary and what post Lateralus-era Tool sounded like. Otherwise, make an effort to see this band live, as the shows always seem to be an amplified version of their sound that’s always caught me by surprise when seeing the band in action. Here’s to hoping their stint on Hellfest lives up to the acclaim.
