The band has come a long way from the depths of Chugecore promotions and after Soulless Hymns it was possible that the act would improve their songwriting efforts and stretch their capacity a bit more than mindlessly slamming their way through a dozen tracks. But after The Violent Sound came and went like a paper napkin, album opener “Glory” delivers anything but, and the band is slowly fading their way into the mist, and unfortunately heading into distant memory. Acts need to evolve with time, it’s ok to blast the classics at the gig, but a little variety in the metal department is warranted, especially for a beatdown act that’s been delivering one note drones for the majority of their career.
