Modern death metal, fitting in where Whitechapel just squeezed out of. With superb technical proficiency, prog-like riffage, double bass machinery, and cookie monster vocals, this is the classic deathcore sound we used to be clobbered with in the early part of the decade. As all of the legacy acts begin to expand and develop their sound, it opens new lanes for up and comers to give the space a shot to highlight what they’re capable of executing.
