If you’ve been following along since 2014, “Glass Houses” will be the silliest guitar wankery you have probably heard in a very long time. A band with this much legacy should definitely start writing better songs. What are those trash lyrics on “Hecate’s Nightmare”? All of this material feels rehashed and forced. Plus local bands are starting to step up their game, so I just don’t understand the investment a label would have with this brand.
