The act is at it again, with a punch-it-in-by-the-numbers-release. There’s been a hint of this in the past with this band, with some of their releases coming out almost immediately after a single touring cycle of the prior release. This one unfortunately feels like another notch on the belt. The production is like something out of the August Burns Red catalogue and the songs have become predictable and straightforward on the band’s sixth full length. Nothing elevates them over the top like what Comeback Kid did on their last LP or what Norma Jean did on this year’s release. The album just kind of comes and goes and is really only there to fatten up the band’s arsenal as they keep pumping out merch into the scene and solidify their body of work.
