The Black Dahlia Murder “Verminous” (2020) // Twenty years in and nine full lengths later, TBDM (also coincidentally the acronym for the scene they helped usher in; Technical Brutal Death Metal) are here to stay. Not that any of their prior releases were subpar to make this note relevant specifically to this release, but this latest edition is absolutely brutal with elevated production and crisp tones. More of the same on a heightened level, and ultimate Kudos to the band for dropping this one for the fans during very challenging times for the DM club scene.
