Aside from the Lord of Drums on the album, the record displays a gifted group chiseling away at very intense sounds, that at times seem too far disjointed and removed from one another for their own good. This avant-garde stuff isn’t for everyone, but if you’re a Deathspell Omega fan and you’re ready for something different, this fresh release is a thought provoking listen.
