It’s the first proper release from the band with all brand new tracks and nothing rerecorded (as far as I know), and the band deliver over a dozen raw, angry METAL songs. There’s absolutely nothing hardcore about “Virtual Narcotic” or most of the songs for that matter aside from the fact that the band come from the hardcore community, which is a testament to the scene’s willingness to accept new ideas and evolve.
