Mr. Bungle “The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo”

Big Mike Patton enthusiast over here, but between all of his bands and features, I only really bit into Mr. Bungle’s “California” almost twenty years, which this is definitely not. Apparently this demo has been something the band has had in the archives for years and was only available in some odd shape on YouTube and has suddenly leaped into Billboard rankings. This plays out more like “Sumdogs” era GWAR, which makes sense with thrash legends Lombardo and Ian at the helm. It’s a really dope ass thrash album to be honest, even if it’s not really what I was expecting at all. But then again, I don’t know Mr. Bungle that well, and if you start with “California” you’ll know why this caught me off guard, this definitely ain’t no “Ars Moriendi” or as comical and animated as that record seemed to be.
