Quite possibly the most digestible Deicide record to date, Benton and company fire on all cylinders delivering a modern death metal masterpiece. Gutturals and screams sync in parallel delivery, while guitar leads fly in and out of every speaker throughout each track. Diehards may disagree, but this is exactly what this band needs (and quite possibly Summer Slaughter too) to not only stay relevant, but ahead of deathcore’s current virality and senseless chuggy tendencies.
