Tzompantli deliver a down-tuned, sludge heavy record that combines death metal pummeling alongside groovy rhythms and punctual guttural vocals. The tribal theme is executed well, with the dynamic incorporated seamlessly throughout as if Soulfly had a strange baby with Cannibal Corpse and delivered this seven track behemoth. Not to be missed.
