If you want deep black metal filled with epic chords, thundering blasts and soaring vocals, go listen to Deafheaven. Wait a minute this is… not a Deafheaven review! But seriously folks, these songs go off the deep end bring to mind Kardashev’s 2022 epic “Liminal Rite.” A long winded listen, but definitely worth the space and time to standout, salt and peppered with noteworthy production.
