An impressive effort from a band that’s got a catalogue that stems all the way back to 2011, delivering legitimate metallic hardcore, a term that gets thrown around more often than the word “woke” or “AI.” “Dreams Of Escape” delivers lush chords that brings to mind Burst-like melodies, while the rest of the album flows seamlessly throughout with bangers like “Selfish Wish” highlighting a sound we haven’t heard since Defeater stopped delivering new tunes. A superb, punctual release that’s got strong replay value, dished out on Scott Lee’s notorious 1126 Records.
